How do I open a trade account?
Apply with your ABN and licence details; approved plumbers, builders and designers get trade pricing, a dedicated contact, order history through the trade portal and, on application, payment terms.
Who qualifies
- Licensed plumbers and gasfitters.
- Registered builders and renovation contractors.
- Interior designers and bathroom designers.
- Property developers and project managers.
You need an active ABN. Trades that require a licence need to supply the licence number — several manufacturer warranties depend on licensed installation, so we record it.
Applying
- 1Complete the trade application with your business and ABN details.
- 2Supply your licence number where your trade requires one.
- 3We verify and set up the account.Usually one to two business days.
- 4You receive your trade portal login.Order history, invoices, delivery documents and job-by-job specifications in one place, at trade.melbournebathroom.com.au.
Payment terms are assessed separately on application. New accounts usually start prepaid and move to terms once there is a trading history. Goods supplied on terms remain our property until the invoice is paid in full, and invoices must be paid by their due date to keep the terms active.
