Are your products WELS and WaterMark compliant?

Yes — every plumbing product we sell is WELS rated and WaterMark certified where Australian law requires it, and the star rating and water consumption for a specific product are on its product page and spec sheet.

Last updated 2 August 2026

What the two marks mean

WELS — the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards scheme — is the star rating on taps, showers and toilets. More stars means less water, and the label also states the actual consumption in litres per minute or litres per flush.

WaterMark is different: it certifies that a product is fit to be legally connected to the drinking water supply or drainage in Australia. A plumber cannot lawfully install an uncertified product where certification is required, so this is the mark your installer will look for.

What we sell

Everything we sell online and in the showroom is sourced for the Australian market: WELS registered and WaterMark certified wherever the schemes require it. Because ratings differ between products — even within the same brand and range — always check the figures for the specific model, not the range.

If your builder, plumber or certifier needs the certification details for a specific product, contact our team with the product name and we will supply them — the button below goes straight to the right place.

What to check before you buy

  • The WELS star rating and water consumption figure on the product page, against any rating your project or development approval specifies.
  • That the flow rate suits your hot-water system — very low-flow tapware can fail to trigger some instantaneous gas units, so check the unit’s minimum flow.
  • WaterMark certification on anything that connects to water supply or drainage.
  • Physical compatibility with the existing plumbing — see the toilet set-out guide and vanity measurement guide.
