What warranty do your products come with?

Every product we sell carries a manufacturer warranty — the period differs by product category and often by part, the binding detail is in the Warranty Policy, and a fault should be reported within 7 days of first noticing it.

Warranty periods differ by product and part

There is no single warranty period across the store. Each manufacturer sets its own terms, and most products carry different periods for different parts of the same item — a tap body is usually covered for longer than its finish, and a vanity cabinet for longer than its soft-close hardware.

ProductWhat usually carries its own period
Tapware and showersBody and cartridge, separately from the surface finish.
ToiletsCeramic pan and cistern, separately from the seat and inlet/outlet valves.
VanitiesCabinet construction, separately from hinges, runners and soft-close hardware.
Shower screensGlass panels, separately from rollers, hinges and seals.
Baths and basinsThe shell or bowl, separately from the surface finish.
AccessoriesThe product, separately from its plated finish.

The binding periods for each brand and category are set out in the Warranty Policy. For a specific product, the product page and the manufacturer’s documentation state the exact terms — if you want them confirmed before you buy, ask our team before ordering.

What a warranty covers

A manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use — a cartridge that fails, a finish that lifts, a mechanism that stops working. An accepted claim ends in a repair, a replacement part, a replacement product, store credit or a refund, determined by the manufacturer’s terms and the nature of the fault.

Report a fault within 7 days of first noticing it — see how to make a warranty claim. A product that arrived broken is a different path: that is damage on delivery, reported within 48 hours.

The common exclusions

  • Incorrect installation, or installation by an unlicensed person where a licence is required — see who should install my products.
  • Damage from abrasive or acidic cleaners — see the product care guide.
  • Fair wear on consumable parts such as seals, washers and batteries.
  • Repairs or modifications by anyone the manufacturer has not approved, and non-genuine parts.
  • Glass breakage after the goods have left our premises.
  • Cracks in stone, quartz or marble surfaces that appear after delivery — check these on arrival and report marks as damage on delivery.
  • Chips, scratches and marks that were not reported on delivery.
